The true story of Awesome Gal is one of tragic abuse, followed by freedom and redemption. Rescued by Cameron Ring, he has made a 6 minute film about this magnificent, courageous horse. In it, he exposes the horrific practice of soring, a cruel mutilation of a Tennessee Walking horse's front legs, which results in their familiar, and extremely painful walk.
Read about Awesome Gal online and please watch Ring's video, powerful beyond words. Let's all work to abolish this barbaric procedure!
